Kadirov Gafur was born on December 28, 1958 in Tashkent.
1974 - 1978 - Studied at the P.P. Benkov Republican Art College.
1978 - 1984 - Studied monumental painting at the State Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov in Moscow.
Since 1982 - Has participated in International Art Exhibitions.
1985 - 2024 - Works as a teacher at the National Institute of Fine art and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod.
Since 2017 - Has been a professor at the Department of Monumental Painting at the K. Bekzad National Fine art and Design Institute.
1992 - 1997 - Was the head of the "Monumental Painting" Department at the Mannon Uygur.
Gafur Kadirov's works are kept in the Uzbekistan Academy of Fine Arts, the State Museum of Art, the collection of paintings by the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU), the Urgench Art Gallery, private collections in Great Britain, Germany, Spain, the USA, Singapore, Turkey, Italy, Norway, Ukraine, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other private collections.
His works entered a new era in the art of Uzbekistan in the nineties. Realism in the work of Gafur Kadirov has acquired new facets. The new "plastic" thinking and synthesis of art throughout the centuries of the East, mixed with modern sensations in the visual arts, is the result of his many years of search and struggle.
