Painter. Honored Art Worker of Uzbekistan, Hero of the Soviet Union. Born in 1917 in Tashkent. In 1941 graduated from the Republican Art School and immediately went to the front. He fought in the Kuban, for heroic deeds he was awarded the highest award. Front-line impressions formed the basis of the first and many subsequent works of the artist («Feat» 1947, «Dustlik» (Friendship), 1969, «Self-portrait», etc.)
S.F. Abdullaev wrote many sketches - landscapes, still lifes. In addition to easel painting, he worked in the original graphic drawing. In his work, he followed the traditions of the realistic school.
From the post-war years until 1987 he was the director of the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan. Member of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan, participant of numerous exhibitions in the republic. Often signing his work, he added - «Hero».
The artist’s works are presented in the museum collections of Uzbekistan.
