Vasiliy Lysov
A painter, master of sunny Uzbek still life who preserved the palette of Benkov P.P. in his works.
1926 – Was born in Macha village, Tamalynsk district in Saratov province.
1935 - The family did not escape dekulakization - that's how they ended up in Bukhara.
1940 – Moved to Tashkent for permanent residence.
1940-1941 – He attended the art studio of the Tashkent Palace of Pioneers. The teacher was O.P. Tislenko.
1943-1950 - Served in the border troops on the Soviet-Iranian border, now the Republic of Turkmenistan, as a cartographer.
1955-1957 – Studied at the Republican Art College named by P.P. Benkov. When he presented his paintings, he was immediately accepted into the 4th year. His teachers were V.I. Zhmakin, Lunev, Goldrey, and Neighbors.
Since 1954 - Participated first at city and National, and later at All-Union and foreign exhibitions.
1961 - Active independent creative activity.
Since 1961- Was a Member of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan.
1965 - Became a member of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan in the painting section.
For 22 years, he led an art studio in the orphanage No. 22, the director of which was the famous Antonina Pavlovna Khlebushkina.
2003 - Awarded the silver medal of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The works of the artist Lysov are in the State Museum of Art in Tashkent and Bukhara, in private collections of Uzbekistan, Great Britain, Germany, Israel, Italy, Greece, Russia, USA, Japan, Finland, Yugoslavia in the republics of the Soviet Union.
