Painter. Born in Kizlyar (Dagestan). He studied in Baku, at the Azerbaijan Art College named after. Azima Azim-zade with I. Safullaev (1950-1951). He continued his studies in Tashkent, at the Republican Art School. P. Benkov with teachers A. Lunev, M. Nabiev (1955-1959). Trained at the Central Experimental Studio at the Union of Artists of the USSR in Moscow with M. Konik. Since the late 1960s participant of numerous exhibitions in Uzbekistan and abroad. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Master of genre compositions, landscapes, still lifes. An artist of bright temperament, an adherent of the post-impressionist tradition, who pays great attention to form and color as the main components of figurative and plastic expressiveness. In the mid-1990s, he moved with his family to Russia. Died in Ivanovo (Russia).
