People's Artist of Uzbekistan. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR

He was born in 1936 in Shymkent. Perov entered art in the 60s-mid-70s, simultaneously with R. Charyev, E. Melnikov, B. Tokmin, V. Burmakin, Yu. Taldykin, Yu. Zorkin and others. Their work stands apart, it is unique. They entered the art of Uzbekistan as a fresh breeze of youth. Alexander's mother told how her parents lived in the city of Chuguev, then they were displaced by royal order to Southern Kazakhstan for land development.

Studying at school, Sasha attended the art club at the Palace of Pioneers. B.Tokmin, K. Pak, I. Saveliev, A. Terekhin studied at the same school. In 1950, they all came to Tashkent and entered the Republican Art College named after P.P. Benkov. And the friendship between them remained for life. They lived together, rented an apartment.

After graduating from art school, he served in the Black Sea Float in Sevastopol. After serving, he entered the TTAI named after  Ostrovsky to the painting department. His teachers were R. Akhmedov and A. Krivonos. While a student, he went to work at an art school, and after graduation he was left as a teacher of a special discipline at the TTAI. He did not waste the knowledge he gained, but traveled to regions, towns, villages, khirmans, construction sites, and collected material for work. He was distinguished by hard work and inquisitive attention.

All his works were done through the prism of time. He felt the passage of time, the weight of centuries in the creations of the architects of the East. In the architectural monuments of Samarkand, Khiva, Bukhara, it is necessary to convey the time itself, the centuries, the creations of the departed masters who keep these monuments. "The race goes away and the race comes. But the earth and the creations of human hands remain forever..."

Thoughts of the relationship between the past and the present were an important theme in his work. The thought, the theme are important, but the shades are also important, what will then become his creative personality. Were in the works of A .Perova searches for form, style, color, and other visual means. He remained faithful to the realistic school - the knowledge gained at the college, the institute, and then an internship at the Leningrad Academy of Arts in Moiseenko's Workshop.

The Truth in everything was important to him. In all his thematic paintings, landscapes, still lifes, portraits, harmony reigns between the world, life and his vision. The artist's reflection is in the still lifes: "There is nothing dead. A quiet eternal life lives in the departed." The landscape is the leitmotif of all the works: the search for eternal beauty and life, Harmony.

The energy of his work is positive. Warmth and kindness emanate from them. The artist says: "Here it is, the beauty of the earth, people, her love." He is no stranger to experiment, but the truth in life and creativity is most precious.

All the works - from sketches to large works - were created at a highly professional level. A subtle flavor. They are filled with the breath of life, the heart.
