Born in 1930 in Saratov (Russia). He studied at the Republican Art College named after P.Benkov in Tashkent (1946-1951). He lived and worked in Nukus.
The artist's favorite genre was landscape, including industrial. An excellent marine painter. F. Shop devoted many canvases to the Aral Sea and the Amu Darya.
The artist's works are in the museum collections of Uzbekistan, Karakalpakstan.
