The artist-painter, a member of Creative Association of artists at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. He was born in 1958 in Namangan.
He has been educated in professional art in the Tashkent State Theatre and Art institute named after A.N.Ostrovskiy,
From 1986 to 1991 he trained on branch of painting of art faculty in a workshop of the known artist, the big master and classic of Uzbek modern painting Rahim Ahmedov.
From the 3 course of the institute he actively starts to participate in various Republican, foreign group exhibitions and at once involves in close attention of experts. Today name of Ibragim Valihodjaev stands in a number of the most interesting and known artists of Uzbekistan.
The main theme of his works is the images of his contemporaries, everything that surrounds them and how they live - characters, types, way of life, various manifestations of everyday life. He shows a personal attitude to this in various genre compositions, numerous portraits, still lifes, landscapes.
As a result, bright decorative canvases are born that carry the flavor and hot warmth of the native Uzbek region. Or, on the contrary, these are works in which he solves the most complex coloristic tasks with the finest nuances of transitions and combinations of warm and cold tones.
He was repeatedly rewaded by the honorary diplomas of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan. In 2008 he got the gold medal for his great contribution to the Uzbek modemn painting art.
The participant of many exhibitions, also of abroud-in Germany and Ethiopia in 1993, Moscow and Israel in 1995, the USA in 1996, Bangladesh in 1999 r. ap.
Works are in museums of Uzbekistan: the State museum of arts, Management of art exhibitions at the Ministry of culture of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, regional study of local lore muscums in cities Ak-kurgan and Namangan, and also in private collections and galleries of the USA, Canada, Italy, Germany, the Great Britain, France, Philippines, etc.
