The second auction of the "ART VERNISSAGE" auction house on the theme: "Cultural heritage of masters of applied arts of Uzbekistan" has been successfully completed
As most of the participants and guests noted, our Auction was held at a high organizational level. It was attended by representatives of government organizations, art historians, representatives of business and creative intelligentsia.
Of particular note is the participation of representatives of the world-famous Christie's auction house. In particular, Sarah Plumbley, Director of the Department of Islamic and Indian Art and Margot Hovhannisyan, Head of the Department of Faberge and Russian Art, positively noted the activities of the first art auction house in Uzbekistan "ART VERNISSAGE", both in matters of art valuation and organisation of bidding. 38 lots declared in the auction catalog were put up for auction. The great interest of the buyers was aroused by the numismatic items, which became the culmination of the evening. According to the results of the auction, the most interesting lot was lot No. 7 gold coins of the Samanid dynasty, which at the starting price of the lot was 45 million. According to the results of the auction, the sum was sold for 97 million soums. It is noteworthy that the owner of this lot was the participant number 7.
